GiantSquid creates websites that are easy to use, easy to read, and easy on the eyes.
Who is Giant Squid, and what’s with the funktastic name?
Giant Squid Industries is the work of Reid Peifer. I’m a designer developer creative guy located in sunny and tropical St. Paul Minnesota. Why GiantSquid you ask? Because the giant squid was thought to be a legendary creature, in league with Sasquatch and Loch Nessie. The GiantSquid was a thing of Jules Verne’s imagination. But the thing is… it’s real. People feel the same way about their own goals, whether it’s their business or their life. Like dreams are for dreaming but life is life. Your goals could be giant squids – things that you thought were imaginary, but are in fact quite real. The Giant Squid means we can make things that you thought weren’t possible – we can help you achieve your goals.
Why should I work with the Squid?
I’m not going to lie to you. There’s a ocean of web designers out there and many of them are really talented. Here’s what separates GiantSquid from 95% of them – I actually care about the work that I do. You might find more talented, cheaper, more expensive, or more attractive solutions out there – but you will not find one that cares about or invests more in your project more than I do. I deliver what I promise 100% of the time. No funny business, no bait and switch, no surprises.
But you’re just one dude?
True. Here’s the deal, one dude means no bloat and no overhead. That means you get a lot more website for your dollar. It means when you call GiantSquid you talk with the designer, and the developer, and the guy that can answer your questions. But I’m not alone. I’ve got powerful friends. I can put together a team of professionals specifically catered to meet the needs of your project. This means that Giant Squid can scale up or down as it needs to. Check out the services page for a more detailed description of the kinds of things we can (and have) done.
